Square dancing is a clean, family-oriented, FUN activity and it provides great exercise and entertainment for all ages from early teens to nonagenarians. Yes, sir! We have square dancers in their 80s and 90s who do both square and round dancing. How awesome! “Square dancing keeps everyone young at heart.” You can travel from the east to far west, and from north to south in our part of the “country” to find square dancing events, meet new dancers, and make the best of friends. You will have the opportunity to meet the officers from the Texas State Federation of Square and Round Dancers, plus you can visit with many other officers and dancers from all over Texas who will be there. There is free admission for non-square dancers/spectators. Square and round dance lessons are offered throughout the year by local clubs.
