Steamboat House Open to the Public

Join the Sam Houston Memorial Museum on Tuesday, July 26th to commemorate the 159th anniversary of Sam Houston’s death with the opening of the Steamboat House, the home he died in on July 26, 1863. The Steamboat House is not open on a day-to-day basis, so this is a special opportunity for the public to go inside the home from 10AM to 2PM.
