HMH Snakebite Seminar

Join Huntsville Memorial Hospital for this annual fun & educational event!  We will have vendors present including Texas Parks & Wildlife, Huntsvile Fire Department (with a fire truck!) a local snake handler, Poison Control, The Ellen Trout Zoo (with live dispalys), Cro-Fab Viper Venom Company, HMH Medical Clinics (with pizes & giveaways), KSAM traveling road show and more!  Our featured guests will be SHSU Herpetologist Dr. William Lutterschmidt who will help us understand how to identify venomous/nonvenomous snakes, how to avoid getting bitten and what to do if bitten.  We will also have a LIVE educational show presented by The Texas Venom Experience where they will show you many species of snakes and how to identify them and the importance of them to our ecosystem.
